Help for Flyer tenants

| ONE week after both the Singapore Flyer and business there ground to a halt, its strapped tenants finally heard about the management's plans to help them back on track - and found them cold comfort.
On Tuesday night, Singapore Flyer chairman Florian Bollen said the company would waive this past week's rent for tenants, and would meet with them on Wednesday to discuss how they can help improve business. 'We are sorry that the stoppage has affected their business,' said Mr Bollen, in his first statement to the media since the Dec 23 drama, which left 173 passengers trapped for six hours.
