Sponsors reviewing deals

| BARCLAYS bank, which sponsors mega-sports events like the English Premier League (EPL) and the Singapore Open, is mulling over whether to continue doing so.
Given the global credit crunch, Britain's third largest bank is relooking its worldwide sponsorships. In Britain, it has been sponsoring the world's most popular football league, the EPL. It also has sponsorships in rugby, tennis and golf, with the US$5 million Barclays Singapore Open being its marquee golf event in Asia.
