Pop star sues recording firm

| A SINGAPORE-born rising pop star in Taiwan is suing a recording firm here for losses after it allegedly failed to release a new solo album.
Ms Alicia Pan who has featured alongside Taiwanese stars like A-Mei,Jacky Cheung and eVonne Hsu, claims the firm has not released the disc because she declined to sign a new contract. Singapore-based firm Chynahouse Group is denying her case and among other things,counters that all rights to exclusively manage her career were assigned to a Taiwanese firm Music Nation Wingman.
