Massanah Osman, 40, Zainal Mohamed Zain, 44, Mohamad Marzuki Aaripin, 35, and Mohammad Amin Gulam Sawal, 39, are accused of having three packets and 25 straws of heroin weighing about 32 grams for trafficking at a flat in Marsiling Crescent on Nov 19.

The four unemployed,are also said to have trafficked in one straw of heroin weighing about 0.4g at the same place.

Massanah and Zainal face a third charge of having two used syringes believed to be stained with heroin.

Amin has two other charges of drug possession and consumption, while Marzuki's third charge is for taking morphine.

The case was adjourned to Dec 19, pending Health Sciences Authority certificates.

Anyone convicted of traffickings in 15 or more grams of heroin faces the mandatory death penalty.
