TWO people fell victim to a trio of robbers on Monday morning.

The first victim was approached by two men at 5am at Block 449, Clementi Avenue 3, who demanded for his cellphone and cash. A third man acted as a lookout.

The 32-year-old man could only give them $5 as that was all he had on him.

Half an hour later, the trio struck again at Block 55A, Clementi Avenue 3.

A 52-year-old woman felt a push from behind and had her handbag snatched from her.

Two of the men fled towards Clementi central with the handbag and were last seen in front of an NTUC outlet at Block 450, Clementi Avenue 3. The third man struggled with the woman before running off.

All three men are described to be tanned and in their early 20s.
