Do power savers work?
IN TWO separate incidents earlier this month, power saver devices, which require plugging in the product for 24 hours to any power socket at home, exploded in two homes here.

The Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) also received a complaint against such a product last year, where the consumer said he did not get the 10 to 30 per cent savings in electricity bill as claimed by the salesman.

Have you resorted to power savers to cut your electricity bill? Did they really work?
