Body washes up on beach

| By Kimberly Spykerman | |
| THE second decomposed body in a week has surfaced, this time at Palawan Beach on Sentosa Island.
Washed up on the beach late yesterday morning, the dead woman, lying face down, was spotted by beachgoers. Police have identified her as a 53-year-old Singaporean through her fingerprints. Decomposition was so advanced that neither her race nor age could be determined when she was first found. It is also not known if she had any injuries. It was certain, however, that she wore her hair long, and was in a brown sweatshirt and blue three-quarter length pants. On Monday, the body of a woman, who has yet to be identified, was found in the bushes at Bukit Batok Nature Park. The police have classified the case as unnatural death and investigations are ongoing. | |
