| By Maria Almenoar | |
THE new Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantry along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) will begin charging from Nov 3. Motorists heading westbound on the PIE before Eunos Link from 7am to 7.30am will have to pay $2. Those travelling between 7.30am and 8am will have to pay $1. The Land Transport Authority has also completed its regular quarterly review of traffic conditions on roads with ERP charges. The outcome is that ERP charges will be increased by 50 cents along two roads as traffic conditions there are not optimal. Changes are as follows: ERP on eastbound East Coast Parkway (Marina South) and on the slip road from Ophir Road Time: 6.30pm to 7.30pm Current charges: $1 From Nov 3: $1.50 Charges at all other gantries remain unchanged. | |
