DURING a routine patrol in June, Corporal Muhammad Razli Ramli found himself faced with a bribe from a taxi driver he had caught without a seat belt. The cabby offered him $200 to let the offence slide. But the corporal arrested him immediately. Today, Cpl Muhammad Razli, 26, will be honoured for his display of integrity at a Singapore Police Force medal ceremony. Two other police officers who rejected bribes from an illegal immigrant, Senior Station Inspector Lam Choon Wah, 38, and Special Constable Busthonul Abidin Arifin, 22, will also be honoured. | |
