By the third quarter of next year, the Land Transport Authority will build racks for 823 more bicycles along nearby viaducts.

This brings the total number of bicycle lots to 2,116, up from 1,293 now.

The three estates were picked as they have a high concentration of cyclists, said LTA.

The new bicycle racks will allow cyclists to lock their bicycles at a wheel or on the frame, and feature basic shelters to protect bicycles from the weather.
