| PLAYERS in Singapore's tourism industry, smarting from three straight months of lower-than-expected arrivals, are predicting leaner times ahead for their sector.
With the United States in the grip of a financial calamity that has the potential to extend around the world, insiders say the tourism sector is in for a rough ride. 'With all the things going on in the world, anyone who is not concerned is living in cuckoo land,' said Mr Kevin Bossino, the general manager of Grand Mercure Roxy in the East Coast.
