|
| SINGAPORE on Monday condemned the massive truck bomb which killed 53 people at Islamabad's five-star Marriott Hotel on Saturday night.
At least five foreigners were among the dead, including two Americans and the Czech ambassador to Islamabad. Deploring the suicide bomb attack, a statement from Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "This act of violence and terror, taking place during the Ramadan period, has killed and injured many innocent civilians. "We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims. "Singapore firmly stands with the international community to support the efforts of the Pakistani government and its people to fight against terrorism. " | |
