THE Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on Thursday launched a hotel site at Kallang Road and Jellicoe Road for sale by public tender.

The land parcel, which is on the URA reserve list, has already drawn interest from a developer who is prepared to put in a bid of S$51 milllion.

The 0.42 ha site, with a maximum permissible gross floor area of about 18,986 sq m, is zoned for hotel development.

It is located at the fringe of the city and situated above the Lavender MRT station.
