MORE than 30,000 people have signed up for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon as the early bird period ended on Monday.

Registrations in the Full Marathon & 10km categories have registered the highest increase by 31 per cent since registration opened on July 21.

The race field is capped at 48,000.
