| JAKARTA - CHINESE vice-premier Li Keqiang will arrive in Indonesia on Saturday for a four day-official visit, the Chinese embassy here said.
The vice-premier will hold talks with Vice-President Jusuf Kalla before signing a series of agreements. He will also make a courtesy call to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, said a press release. Mr Li also plans to attend a business luncheon organised by a local chamber of commerce and the China-Indonesia energy forum in Jakarta. 'The vice-premier will arrive in Surabaya on Saturday afternoon before visiting Jakarta on Sunday,' foreign affairs ministry spokesman Teuku Faizasyah told AFP. Surabaya, which is located in east Java, is the second biggest city in Indonesia after Jakarta. 'He will meet the officials of east Java and oversee a project in which there is a concessional loan from China,' Mr Faizasyah said of the Suramadu Bridge, which will link the populous island of Java with Madura island. -- AFP | |
