| ASEAN transport ministers meet in the Philippines today to ink an agreement paving the way towards unrestricted travel between capital cities by Dec 1, but do not expect it to take effect anytime soon.
More flights and choices for travellers will come only when the 10 member states of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, ratify the agreement.
