Plane emergency lands on road
| JAKARTA - A SMALL plane with two student pilots and an instructor made a successful emergency landing on an Indonesian highway on Wednesday after engine trouble forced it down, police said.
The Cessna 172-C was en route from Jakarta to Semarang in Central Java when it got into trouble and landed on a toll road some 70 kilometres from the capital, police said. 'There were no victims as the toll road was quite deserted when the training aircraft made the emergency landing,' police officer Marsono said. -- AFP | |
