STI closes 2.14% higher

SINGAPORE shares ended the day higher with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 39.13 points, or 2.14 per cent, at 1,868.82. Around 2.3 billion shares exchanged hands. Gainers beat losers 340 to 216. | |
