MJ death treated as homicide

LOS ANGELES - CELEBRITY website TMZ.com has reported that the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is treating Michael Jackson's death as a homicide.

According to TMZ.com, the LAPD is focusing on Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor who was one of the last to see Jackson before he died.

The LAPD are reported as saying that the anesthesia drug Propofol was the primary cause of Jackson's death and vials were found his home after his death.

There is 'plenty of powerful evidence' identifying Dr Murray as the person who gave the drug to Jackson, law enforcement sources are quoted as saying by TMZ.com.

According to TMZ.com other evidence found in Jackson's home includes an IV stand and an oxygen tank.

Dr. Murray's lawyer would neither confirm nor deny if his client administered the Propofol, reported TMZ.com.

Although the case has not yet been formally presented to the District Attorney, TMZ.com reports that the LAPD had had 'multiple conversations with the LA County District Attorney's office.
