According to media reports on Monday, Lohan, who has increasingly been portrayed as 'troubled' will 'give advice to people who need a second chance in life'.

UsMagazine.com reported that Lohan was seen meeting American Idol host Ryan Seacrest in Hollywood over the weekend.

Seacrest will produce the show and Lohan will act as a mentor, reported news.com.au. The partnership was confirmed on Twitter.

"Working on a really great project for television - I am excited!" Lohan wrote.

"Something meaningful like Extreme Home Makeover."

"Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her ... it helps people and gives others a second shot! Still putting it all together,' Seacrest wrote.
