Suicide unlikely
BANGKOK - THE shocking death of Kill Bill star David Carradine in a Bangkok hotel could have been due to accidental suffocation as a result of a sex game, rather than suicide, Thai police said on Friday.

The naked body of the 72-year-old was found hanging by a housekeeper in a closet in suite 352 of the luxury Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel at around 11.30am on Thursday.

He had been in Bangkok to film an action movie, Stretch, in which he had a starring role.

Initial reports had suggested that the Hollywood actor - the 'Bill' in director Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies and the gentle, wise monk in the 1970s TV series Kung Fu - had committed suicide.
