The MediaCorp actors' celebrity hairstylist David Gan, who is their wedding planner, revealed this in interviews with Chinese evening dailies Shin Min Daily News and Lianhe Wanbao.

He would not name the date but said: 'It will be the later half of the year. Could be 0913, 0928 or 0905. I really don't know.

'09 is a good number,' he added.

He said fashion brands are already knocking on Fann's door to sponsor her wedding gown. He is talking to three well-known bridal gown designers, including Vera Wang, about the dress.

He said the couple cannot decide between the Ritz-Carlton, Millenia and Shangri-La hotels as the venue, as 'Ritz has problems with lighting and Shangri-La has curtain problems', Lianhe Wanbao said. 'They are considering whether to spend $10,000 on curtains at Shangri-La,' he added.

He is not the first to let on about a September 2009 wedding. Actress Zoe Tay recently told reporters at a function: 'There will be a big and happy event next September.'

But Fann herself might have been the first to spill the beans. She said at a press conference in July: '090909 - a Himalayas wedding with Chris.' But the media did not take it seriously at the time.
