New look for ST readers
TO mark its 163rd anniversary this year and to celebrate its new look, The Straits Times is giving 163 readers head-to-toe makeovers at Suntec City Mall this Sunday.

More than 200 readers have applied for the makeover, after seeing advertisements in the paper for this makeover contest.

The two organisers, Singapore Press Holdings and Suntec City Mall, will choose the 163 readers based on how well they suit the makeover theme, A New You.

On Sunday, each participant will be given $200 worth of shopping vouchers to shop for clothes and accessories at selected outlets such as Raoul, Topshop/ Topman and Chaos, among others. Each participant will be given a theme, either Casual, Executive or Elegant, and they will have to shop according to that theme.

Before the contestants go off on their shopping sprees, stylist Genecia Luo will give them tips on how to dress right for their individual themes and help them put their outfits together after they are done selecting their clothes.

Hair and make-up will be done by Anthony Hair Boutique and Menard respectively
