GORILLA THEATRE

Go bananas. This no-holds-barred improvisational theatre by The Loose Moose Theatre Company of Canada is created by members of the audience taking turns to direct scenes. Join the mayhem as 'directors' and 'actors' strut their stuff by singing, dancing and miming to create improvised scenes. This inaugural Theatre For Teens presented by Act 3 International is meant for those aged 10 to 16.

Singapore artist Robert Teo explores urban Singapore, contrasting it with history hidden in the landscape by using a digital medium in a painterly manner.

FAIRYTALE

You can walk into a story book at the Arts House. Six artists will magically transform its Gallery into a storybook to display the storybook qualities of everyday life. The exhibition, which features miniature sculptures, mixed media collages and photographs, is presented by Andrea Emmanuel, a Singapore artist.

NEW PERSPECTIVE (SAIGON CHILDREN'S CHARITY)

Buy any of 45 photographs of Vietnamese children and the proceeds will go to the development of the Saigon Children's Charity Vocational Training School and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund. Snapped by young photographers from the vocational training school, they provide fascinating insights into the lives of the children.

OWN TIME OWN TARGET

It's Army Daze once more. Find out why do Singaporeans hate national service, love it, fear it and ultimately, cannot live without it at the world premiere of two comedies and a musical about national service. Radio Silence by Laremy Lee is about an NSF officer and his driver who are lost in the jungle, while Full Tank is about a sergeant and his crew who hijack a tank and go on a joyride through Singapore streets. Botak Boys, a musical by Julian Wong, is about the heartache, bravery and rude shocks encountered by a Singaporean and his buddies.

TO KILL A MOCKING BIRD

APPLES AND LADDERS BY LEMONY S, AUSTRALIA

This haunting puppet piece is aimed at inspiring young adults and developing their respect for diversity. It portrays two elderly neighbours living beside each other with an apple tree between their houses, but a gulf of apathy and isolation separates them.

THE WRITE STUFF

Children will be inspired at this production, which features crazy characters and madcap adventures. Written by children, the 12 stories include imaginative tales about aliens taking over a local school and a journey back in time to meet William Shakespeare.

Recommended for children aged seven years and above, it's presented by The Little Company, a division of the Singapore Repertory Theatre, with Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Foundation as the presenting sponsor.
