After six weeks as MP for Sengkang GRC, Ms He Ting Ru of the Workers' Party (WP) has found that the job comes with new challenges compared with her nine years of volunteer work.

"When you're volunteering, you're always part of a team, but as an MP you end up being the face of it," says Ms He, who led the WP's four-member Sengkang team to victory in the general election last month.
