Selfish to go to events while sick? Don't overreact, say netizens

A poll found that despite 81 per cent of Singapore residents fearing a coronavirus infection, slightly more than a third said they would turn up for an important event even if they had developed mild symptoms earlier that day.

Many Straits Times Facebook users perceived selfishness in the responses, and one of them, Junyi Jude Low, said: "In other words, only afraid if you get it, not concerned if others get it from you."
