Fur flies over HDB cat ban following rule change for dogs

Many cheer new criteria allowing bigger dogs to be rehomed in flats, but ask, why not cats?

When it was announced recently that residents can adopt and keep bigger dogs in Housing Board flats, even as cats are still banned from them, you know the fur will fly.

And fly it did, with Straits Times Facebook users saying things like: "Ridiculous that dogs are allowed and getting bigger but cats are not allowed. The bigger the dog, the louder the bark."
