LONG BEACH, California - A JetBlue airliner bound for Austin, Texas, had to return to the Long Beach Airport on Thursday after it experienced engine problems which caused the cabin to fill with smoke.
In a video filmed by a passenger, the pilot announced that they would be heading back to the airport after an engine failure in the plane's right engine.
Passengers wearing oxygen masks can be seen in the video while a stewardess can be heard reminding passengers that smoking is not allowed on the plane.
All passengers and crew were evacuated onto the runway using the plane's emergency slides. None of the 142 passengers and five crew members on the Airbus A320 were injured.
