Tennis: Goffin ends Coric dream run to make Swiss final, Federer advances to final
David Goffin ended the dream run of teenager Borna Coric, the conqueror of Rafael Nadal, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 on Saturday to reach the final of the Swiss Indoors.
Croatian Coric, 17, and ranked 124th, was brought down to earth fewer than 24 hours after he won the match of his career, defeating 14-time major winner Nadal in the quarter-finals.
Goffin, who has exploded into form since Wimbledon with a 43-2 record, will face five-time champion Roger Federer in the final.

Former Cream front man Jack Bruce dies, age 71
The former lead singer of British rock band Cream, Jack Bruce, has died aged 71, his family said on Saturday.
Bruce, who also played bass for the band, founded Cream with guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer Ginger Baker in 1966.
He co-wrote some of Cream's biggest hits including "Sunshine of Your Love" and "I Feel Free" before the band broke up in 1968.

U.S. recognizes gay marriages in six more states
US Attorney General Eric Holder said on Saturday the US government will recognize same-sex marriages in six more states, bringing to 32 the number of states where couples in gay unions qualify for federal benefits.
Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, North Carolina, West Virginia and Wyoming were added to the list on Saturday, a week after Mr Holder made a similar announcement concerning seven other states.
The move comes after the US Supreme Court declined to hear appeals of cases that sought to overturn bans on same-sex marriages.

Illinois orders mandatory Ebola quarantine for high-risk travellers
Illinois has ordered mandatory 21-day quarantines for all "high-risk" people who have had direct contact with Ebola patients while in Liberia, Guinea or Sierra Leone, the three West African nations most affected by the outbreak.
The order, to be implemented by local health authorities, includes all medical personnel who treated patients with the often-deadly disease in those three countries.
Previously such high-risk individuals were subject to voluntary isolation.

Christopher Lee wins Best Actor at Taiwan's prestigious Golden Bell television awards
Local actor Christopher Lee triumphed at the prestigious Golden Bell Awards, winning Best Lead Actor for his turn as a workaholic husband fighting to salvage his marriage in the hit family drama A Good Wife.
In front of a thousand-strong crowd of starlets and thespians, in the cavernous halls of Taiwan's National Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall on Saturday night, he received his first acting accolade outside of Singapore - at what is known as the equivalent of the Emmys in the Chinese-language world, no less.
"I might have looked calm while filming, but I was sweating buckets inside," he said with a grin of the challenging role he played while accepting the award.
