MOMBASA, Kenya (REUTERS) - At least 14 people were killed when unidentified gunmen attacked the coastal Kenyan town of Mpeketoni overnight, police said on Monday. "I can confirm that 14 people were killed in the Mpeketoni attack (last) night," Kenyan police spokesman Zipporah Mboroki said by telephone.

She said another 25 people had been taken to a nearby hospital, most of them with bullet wounds.
