PARIS (AFP) - French forces clashed with former members of the Central African Republic's Seleka rebellion on Saturday, a military spokesman said.

Gunmen in pick-up trucks shot at the French troops, who returned fire, destroying one of the three vehicles, Gilles Jaron said, adding no French soldiers were killed in the clash.
