Iraq parliament adjourns without progress on govt: MP

BAGHDAD (AFP) - Iraq's parliament on Sunday adjourned for two days without making any progress on forming a government despite heavy pressure to do so, an MP said.

Acting speaker "Mahdi al-Hafez said that there was no agreement on naming the head of parliament, so it has been decided to postpone the session" until Tuesday, MP Abdulbari Zebari told AFP.
