KIEV (AFP) - Ukraine's security service said on Wednesday that its intercepted communications showed that the same Russian agents who took part in last month's seizure of Crimea were now coordinating the separatist insurgency in the country's east.

"These same Russian special service agents also seized the Supreme Soviet and the Council of Ministers building in Crimea. We clearly established this by their call signs," the service's counter-intelligence department spokesman Vitaliy Naida told reporters.
