LONDON - British Transport police have released shocking footage of a pram rolling onto the train tracks of the London Underground, with a child inside.

CCTV footage showed a man leaving the child in the pram at the foot of the stairs between two platforms at London's Goodge Street station. A gust of strong wind then pushed the pram onto the tracks, reported British media.

After the pram fell onto the tracks, a woman was seen running and jumping onto the tracks to save the child, pram and bags.

Seconds after the rescue, a train pulled into the station, British media reported.

Although the incident happened on the evening of July 23, British Transport Police released the footage to find the family seen in the video, added British media.

Its spokesman said the police had released the video showing the people involved to highlight the danger and to ask anyone who knew the family to contact British Transport Police.
