Earthquake of 7.1 magnitude rocks southern Mexico

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 rattled southern Mexico on Monday, the United States Geological Survey said.

The quake was centered 35km west-south-west of the city of Tapachula in the state of Chiapas, at a depth of about 75 km.
