Redemption is sweet, or rather crunchy.

After a good rest and a hearty meal of nuts, The Straits Times' hamster oracles, Tiki and Taka, are back in form.

The furry duo had gone on a four-match streak of spot-on predictions at full-time but their fifth was thwarted by the German defeat of France in the quarter-finals.

That turned out to be just a minor blip and our intrepid hamsters played their tiny paws out on Monday to correctly predict a German win. Indeed, Germany delivered a record 7-1 defeat to a toothless Brazil in this morning's game.

Five out of six correct predictions. Not bad for the prophetic pair, whose transfer value has reportedly skyrocketed with great interest shown by mysterious Arabian bidders.

Will Tiki and Taka make it a record sixth in tomorrow morning's Argentina-Netherlands game? Watch the video here.
