OCBC Bank has been appointed the official card partner of the event, which will be held at the new Singapore Sports Hub. Tickets are available from www.sportshubtix.com.sg

The agreement will give OCBC card members a seven per cent discount when they purchase tickets to the tennis event during an exclusive pre-sale starting Thursday till May 14 and during the early bird period (May 15-June 1). The general public can purchase tickets from May 15 onwards.

OCBC Card members will still enjoy a five per cent discount after the initial pre-sale and early bird period.

Said WTA chairman and chief executive Stacey Allaster: "This brand new partnership with Singapore's leading bank is another example of how we're deepening our relationship with Singapore."

The prestigious season-ender for women's professional tennis, presented by SC Global, will feature the year's top eight singles players and top eight doubles pairs and will likely see participation from current world No. 1 Serena Williams and Australia Open champion Li Na of China.

Singapore is hosting the US$6.5 million (S$8.15 million) tournament for the next five years, expanding the event to a 10-day sport and entertainment extravaganza that includes sideshows like Legends and Rising Stars events.
