It is heartbreaking enough to lose a final, worse if you lose it after holding five match points. But what if you lose two finals in that way to the same opponent? It could drive even the best of us mad, and that is what happened to Spanish tennis player Tommy Robredo.

The world no. 21 had five match points against Andy Murray in the Shenzhen Open final last month, but did not make his 6-2 lead in the second-set tiebreak count and and went on to lose the match.

On Sunday, in the Valencia Open final, in front of his fans, it was deja vu all over again.

After blowing yet another five match points and having to again settle for second best after a 6-3, 6-7 (9/7), 6-7 (10/8) loss, which at three hours, 20 minutes, was the longest three-set ATP final of the year, a deflated Robredo reacted in the most epic way possible with a hand gesture, as seen in this video.

It was probably not the nicest thing to do, but after two losses, in heart-breaking fashion, and after three hours of battle, one can perhaps understand Robredo's reaction.

After the match, Robredo served Murray a playful warning in Spanish.

"Next time, I'm going to get you," he said.

Perhaps he did not need to say anything. His actions spoke louder than words.
