Crescent Girls School (CGS) beat Seng Kang Secondary School (SKSS) 3-0 in the B division finals of the Schools National 11-a-side Hockey Tournament at Sengkang Hockey Stadium on Monday.

This is Crescent's first time lifting the Cup in 14 years. Last year, they were denied the title by CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School, but came back strongly this year to pip them in the semi-finals.

"I'm very happy because its been so long since we were champions," said CGS captain Heather Lee, 16, who could not stop smiling. "The past few years we were second so I think this year our hard work and perseverance really paid off."
