ST Run: Final chance to be the first to run at the National Stadium; entries close tonight

The new National Stadium has already played host to Singapore pop star Stefanie Sun and Italian football giant Juventus.

On Sept 28, it will be the turn of the public to take centre stage. Over 20,000 runners have already signed up for the Straits Times Run at the Hub, the first run to end under the new stadium's iconic dome roof.

You too can join in this historic event. Although all slots for the 5km run have been taken up, places for the 10km and 21km routes are still available. Sign up for the big day at www.straitstimesrun.com. Registration will close at 11.59pm on Friday night, Aug 22.

Registration fees range from $45 to $70 with OCBC Bank credit card holders enjoying a 10 per cent discount. Participants will also get more than $200 worth of goodies in their race packs, including a race singlet and a commemorative finisher's T-shirt, both made by official sportswear partner New Balance.
