They will play Padasak Tanviriyavechakul and Suthasini Sawettabut of Thailand in the semi-finals scheduled for Wednesday 5.30pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The Republic's Yu Mengyu and Yang Zi also won their quarter-final against Ryan Rodney Jacolo and Sendrina Balatbat of the Philippines (11-5, 11-3, 11-5). The duo will play Vietnamese pair Dinh Quang Linh and Mai Hoang My Trang in the other semi-final.

Singapore's table tennis team have already won two golds, a silver and a bronze, and are aiming for a clean sweep of all seven titles on offer at the SEA Games.
