Sailing: Singapore finish with one gold, one silver and five bronzes at Asian C'ships

Singapore's sailors took home one gold, one silver and five bronzes at the Asian Sailing Championships on Sunday in Incheon, South Korea.

Priscilla Low and Cecilia Low were tops in the double-handed 29er skiff, winning gold in the three-strong fleet while team-mates Elisa Yukie Yokoyama and Samantha Annabelle Neubronner took bronze. Thailand's Noppakao Poonpat and Nichapa Waiwai took silver.

Jodie Lai, meanwhile, won a silver in the Under-15 Optimist class for girls, finishing behind China's Yu Hujia and ahead of Malaysia's Nor Nabila Natasya Mohd Nazri.

The sailors also claimed bronze in both the men's and women's double-handed 420 dinghy. Loh Jiayi teamed up with Jonathan Yeo to finish third in the men's event while Kimberly Lim and Savannah Siew won a bronze in the women's event.

The Republic's other bronzes came through windsurfers Audrey Yong in the women's RS: One event and Ruth Mow in the RS:X class.
