Football: StarHub to air Brazil v Japan friendly on SuperSports Arena

The sight of Shinji Kagawa lining up against Neymar will now reach an audience larger than the projected 55,000 fans inside the National Stadium at the Singapore Sports Hub on Oct 14.

This, after cable television provider StarHub confirmed they will be screening the Brazil versus Japan friendly match, which kicks off at 6.45pm, live.

Fans who are unable to catch the clash between the Selecao and the Samurai Blue at the National Stadium can still follow the match via StarHub channels 112 or 205. Non-StarHub TV households can access the channel by tuning an unused channel to the frequency VHF 76.25MHz.

The National Stadium is on track to host its first capacity crowd, with over 45,000 tickets already sold, in a match that will be the second high-profile game to be played there in as many months.

In August, Andrea Pirlo scored two goals to help his Juventus side to a 5-0 victory over a Singapore Selection side.

StarHub will also air a live telecast of the Brazil versus Argentina mega clash in Beijing on Oct 11 at 8.05pm, as well as the latter's next friendly game three days later when they fly to Hong Kong to play the host, on their SuperSports 2 channel (StarHub channel 202) at 8pm.
