Football: Giggs uncertain over United future

SOUTHAMPTON (AFP) - Ryan Giggs claims not to have thought about his Manchester United future yet, but he concedes that will have to change quickly when his club hire their new manager.
Having taken charge of United as interim boss for four games, Giggs has developed a taste for management, but the 40-year-old is unlikely to secure the Old Trafford job on a permanent basis.
United's owners, the Glazer family, seem set to appoint Louis van Gaal this week, with the Netherlands coach already indicating he is prepared to work with Giggs on his staff.
However, the Welsh midfielder is also considering whether to keep playing, take a year off, or join the Old Trafford coaching staff permanently - a decision he won't take until he knows for certain who will be in charge at United.
