Breaking News: Real Madrid has revealed its tactic to be the first team to retain the Champions League crown: Wearing a jersey with a pair of intricate dragons usually reserved for loud graphic T-shirts to distract opponents.

The new Champions League kit for the Spanish giants will feature a design by Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. According to the club's website, the design represents the "greatness and determination of the club with two mythical beasts from oriental culture". No word on why Los Blancos are wearing black instead of their trademark white.

Speaking of Japanese dragons, here's a cool video of them being painted.

Fast forward to the 3 min 45 secs mark to see how the body of the beast is painted in one stroke.
