Football Funnies: Manchester United are so bad, even its Twitter account lost some hope

Louis van Gaal's Manchester United laboured 1-1 draw away to Sunderland on Sunday laid further bare the team's shortcomings.

And it seems that the gloom surrounding Old Trafford has spread to even the club's official Twitter account, which might need a beginners' lesson in positive public relations after posting this gaffe of a tweet.

Predictably, its pessimism earned a backlash from Red Devils supporters, who weren't too amused.

Perhaps the rumoured arrival of Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria for a record free might soothe some frayed nerves. The social media sphere, however, has been quick to post its alternative take.
