Barcelona centreback Thomas Vermaelen has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Spanish giants, but this inept display of driving at the Nou Camp carpark entrance surely isn't the best advertisement.

Having fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal, the Belgian completed a high-profile move to Spain during the summer in search of first-team football.

But with a posse of fans scrutinisng his every move - and a cameraman hovering nearby - the pressure evidently got to the 28-year-old as he struggled to manoeuvre his black Audi into the tight space prior to Barcelona's match against Atletic Bibao on Saturday.

To his credit, Vermaelen was calmness personified, even as supporters tried telling him what to do as while the stadium stewards were roped in to assist.

Perhaps it's back to driving school for the former Gunners skipper?
