LONDON (AFP) - Brazil international midfielder Sandro has lost his place in the Tottenham Hotspur squad because he is "not good enough" to get into the team, manager Tim Sherwood said on Saturday.
"He's not selected at the moment. I don't think he's good enough to be in the side at the moment," the Englishman told BT Sport after his side's 3-1 win over Fulham at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
"When he shows me that he is, and he's at a level with the other players, then he'll get back in the squad, but at the moment he's not up to the level of being in our squad."
Sandro took to Twitter to express his displeasure at being left out of the match-day squad for Fulham's visit. "Good morning Guys, just to let you know that i'm not injured !" he wrote. "Hope that we can win the game today."
