Football: 24 community clubs to screen live EPL matches free this season

The new English Premier League (EPL) season will kick off on Saturday with free screenings at two community clubs, with another 22 more joining in during the 10-month season.

Following positive feedback from the World Cup screenings in June, the People's Association and SingTel will extend their partnership to offer live EPL screening for fans. Buona Vista and Tampines West will be the first CCs to begin live EPL screening, showing Saturday night's opening EPL match between Manchester United and Swansea City.

Other CCs will commence their EPL screening in phases and details will be made available on PA's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/PAFrenz). Residents are encouraged to contact the CCs directly for the latest match screening schedules.

List of participating CCs: Bishan, Bukit Batok East, Buona Vista, Chong Pang, Chua Chu Kang, Clementi, Fengshan, Gek Poh Ville, Kaki Bukit, Kim Seng, Nee Soon South, Paya Lebar Kovan, Pasir Ris East, Sengkang, Tampines Central, Tampines West, Telok Ayer HLG, Telok Blangah, Toa Payoh Central, Ulu Pandan, West Coast, Yew Tee, Yio Chu Kang, Zhenghua.
