SACRAMENTO - Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Kevin Durant reached a scoring milestone on Tuesday night, as he became the fourth-quickest and second-youngest player in National Basketball Association history to reach 15,000 points.

In 2010, LeBron James reached the 15,000-mark at 25 years, 79 days, and he did it in his 540th game, making him the fastest and youngest in league history.

Durant entered the game needing only three points. He knocked down a jumper in the first quarter to reach the 15,000-point threshold, and finished with 26 points on 12 of 25 shooting from the field.

He also added three rebounds, two assists and one steal while logging a season-high 35 minutes of game action in a 104-92 victory.
